Amongst all the Japanese car brands, Mazda has always been unique in its vision and approach to car making, not only by its model lineup and technology but also by forward-thinking and brave ideas. One of them was to enter the EV market years before it even existed. Back in 1998, the first Mazda EV entered production, albeit in somewhat limited quantities. Mazda Demio EV was a battery-powered version of its compact model; interestingly, Mazda managed to sell over 10,000 examples in five years. Today, Mazda is again in the EV market with one model and a few more in the pipeline. Mazda EV Models

The only Mazda EV model sold in Europe is the MX-30, a compact SUV with characteristic Mazda design, great driving dynamics and modern features. This model is available as ICE, PHEV and battery-powered version. MX-30 is the first in the announced lineup of Mazda's electric and electrified vehicles which will be introduced in the following period. Of course, whatever Mazda EV models will arrive, we at Voldt are ready with a set of charging cables of certified quality and long service life.

Mazda EV Technology

The MX-30 is a compact SUV with emphasis on range, practicality and usability. That is why Mazda decided not to equip it with an overly powerful electric drive train. Underneath the elegant body there is a modest 35 kWh battery pack using lithium-ion formula and 400 v architecture. The MX-30 is capable of AC and DC charging at 11 kW or 54 kW when connected to a fast charger. We at Voldt have all the charging cable solutions you need to power it safely and quickly.
